It’s good to be back after a long hiatus! Talking about long, Kartun thought why not talk about cartoon and anime series whose colourful pixels have dotted your screens for a long long time… Let’s waste no time and let me give you what i found out.

1) The Simpsons
They have been around since 1989.  That’s almost 20 years! Of course this cartoon series has to be on the list. Who does not know who are the Simpsons? Who can forget who’s Homer Simpsons and hissilly antiques? You get the drift… The Simpsons is also one of the highest rated comedy in the US at all times! Talk about old ginger’s spiciness.

2) Dragonball
This anime series have many parts – you have the original Dragon Ball, then Dragon Ball Z and then again Dragon Ball GT. To add to the list, you also have the movies and the fillers. In total, Japan produced more than 500 episodes of Dragon Ball. Kartun here is a proud owner of all the collection Hehe…

3) Doraemon
Who can forget this cute cat-robot that has everything inside his wonder pocket. When I was young, I always wish that I have Doraemon as my friend. How handy can that be? Haha… It is reputed to have more than 2000 episodes (since 1969) and is still running! Can you beat that?

4) Sazae san
This is a relatively unknown anime outside Japan, but it seems that it has been gracing their TVs since 1969 and is still doing so. The series features a gentle lady, called Sazae and her dealings with contemporary issues in Japan. As one of Japan’s longest running and oldest comic strips and animations, the series is known to nearly every Japanese person, young and old.
